Syrian boy and girl are suffering from Syrian Civil War, For whom is this war for?

Syrian boy and girl are suffering from Syrian Civil War, For whom is this war for?

The death of Alan Kurdi, his brother, and mother, depict the bleak predicament facing people in war-torn regions. It also shows how nearby prosperous regions of peace have failed to work out a unified and efficacious response.

Omran and Alan, Syrian little boys symbols of Syrian horror

Recently, video of Omran Daqneesh, another child found among the rubbles got the attention of the world towards the condition of the people living in the war-torn regions.

The haunting, heartbreaking video of Omran, posted by the Aleppo Media Center, has been circulating on social media.

He lived with his mother, father, brother and sister in the Syrian city of Aleppo. He and his family were injured when their house was destroyed by an airstrike Wednesday. Miraculously, everyone in his immediate family survived.

Aleppo, in northern Syria, has been besieged for years during that country's civil war. Thousands of people have been killed there, including 4,500 children, and many lives have been upended. Omran's family is among them.

"Baba, Baba"

It meaning father. The heartbreaking footage shows injured little girl calling for father after Syrian airstrike.

According to the news agency, the pair were later reunited, but two civilians were killed in the bombing raid, with many more families injured. Talbiseh has been hit hard in recent weeks after a seven-day ceasefire last month.

The Syrian civil war is one of the worst proxy wars, as both US and Russia are heavily invested in this complicated scenario. None of the conflicts mean anything to those dead Syrian boy an girl. How much longer will Syria's children suffer?

There are thousands of children like Omran who are being bombed and killed. Everyday this city is hit with every type of weapon, with every type of crime. These crimes must be stopped in Aleppo.

Some 1.5 to 2 million people still remain in Aleppo, once considered Syria's largest city. It is now divided into rebel-held and government-held areas. Those still there face a terrible choice.

Should they stay in a city subjected to relentless bombing and risk their lives and those of their children? Or embark on a perilous journey across the sea, and endanger the lives of their families?

A Sudanese artist based in Doha, Qatar, captured the two stories that symbolize the suffering of millions into one heart-wrenching image.

HWPL takes the lead in world peace movement

△ Declaration of World Peace

For whom is this war, wherein a child loses his or her parents and parents lose their child? A war must end not only for you and me but also people in the world. If people who dream about peace show a bit of interests, peace must be earned.

There is a non-profit organization called HWPL which practically leads world peace to come true.

What I want to share with many people is the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW). Drafted by renowned legal experts, the declaration's purpose is to cease all wars on earth.

DPCW is unique, as it aims for a cessation of all wars. By the means of prohibiting weapons and transforming them into daily tools, war and warlike activities cannot be initiated. Therefore, sustainable peace can be achieved by implementing this declaration.

If every country in the world adopts legislature inspired by the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW), I have faith that war will no longer break out.

When heads of state around the world sign the DPCW, surely this will gain the United Nations' attention, causing the implementation, through the UN and its Security Council, of the declaration on an international level to be much more possible.

When DPCW is truly followed by all countries and peoples, our world will soon have peace and the cessation of war. Sign Your Support~

The Declaration, which advocates for peace by specifying provisions on the cessation of war, inspires the global community to develop a legally binding document that can be implemented at an international level.

I hope many people to take part for make this world a better place to live. Youth needs to protect himself. When every single youth come together for peace, the war will be ceased.
